Rabbi Emily Meyer has served as rabbi of Bet Chaverim since 2015. She grew up outside Boston, MA, studied Classics at Connecticut College, and became a rabbi in 2010 at the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, OH. She lives in Seattle, WA with her husband Aaron, who is a rabbi at Temple De Hirsch Sinai, and their daughter Evelyn. For the past three years, she has been teaching Jewish Studies at the Seattle Jewish Community School. Her favorite hobbies are kayaking, going for walks with her poodle Camille, and binge-watching Netflix.
